Our Lady’s Preschool – Information, Admissions, Funding & Fees
We are a sessional pre-school and take children from 2½ years to 4 years (Reception school age).
We are a Catholic pre-school and welcome children from all faiths and communities.

Admissions
If you are interested in your child attending our pre-school, you can:
- Print the admissions form and return it to us by post, OR
- Download the form and email it to: ourladyspreschool@gmail.com
We have three intakes per academic year: September, January and April.
If your child is due to start at one of these intakes, you will be contacted approximately 2–3 months in advance to confirm whether we can offer a place.
Our admissions process follows our admissions policy and a place cannot always be guaranteed.
Funding Entitlements
We offer funded early education places for eligible children:
15 hours funded childcare
All children are entitled to 15 hours funded childcare per week from the term after their 3rd birthday.
Free for 2 (FF2)
Eligible children may access 15 hours funded childcare per week from the term after their 2nd birthday.

30 hours funded childcare
Eligible working families may be entitled to 30 hours funded childcare per week.

Funding covers childcare hours only and does not include optional extra services.
Fees
- Standard session fee: £24.00 per session for hours not covered by funded entitlement.
Optional Additional Charges
We offer optional services to support families:
Snack Provision (Optional)
Parents may choose either:
- To provide their child’s own snack, OR
- To request that the preschool provides a snack
If the preschool provides a snack, the charge is £0.40 per session.
This is completely optional.
Lunch Club (Optional)
We offer a Lunch Club for children who stay beyond their session.
- Charge: £5.00 per session
Lunch Club is optional and only applies if parents choose to use this service.
Transparency Statement
- All optional charges are clearly explained and are not compulsory.
- Parents can choose whether or not to use additional paid services.
- We are committed to full transparency in all fees and funding information.
- Any changes will be communicated to parents in advance.
