🌞 Summer Week at Nursery 🌞

This week we had a fantastic Summer Week filled with fun, creativity, and exciting sensory experiences!

One of the highlights of the week was a visit from the Ice Cream Van, where the children enjoyed a delicious ice cream to help them cool down in the warm sunshine.

The children had lots of opportunities to explore water through a variety of activities, including water play, a paddling pool in the garden, and a water tray, where they enjoyed pouring, splashing, and experimenting together.

Our summer-themed tuff tray encouraged imaginative play and sensory exploration, while the Gelli Play provided a wonderful messy play experience that the children thoroughly enjoyed.

To develop their fine motor skills, the children created beautiful sunshine pictures by carefully placing pieces of pasta to make the sun’s rays. They also had great fun making their own colourful ice lollies, exploring different colours and ingredients while talking about keeping cool in the summer.

It has been a wonderful week full of laughter, creativity, sensory play, and outdoor fun. The children have made lovely summer memories while developing their communication, creativity, fine motor skills, and teamwork.
